Dennis Hulse is Weekender Camping Trailers. From the beginning in Aberdeen, Scotland serving his apprenticeship 40 years ago as a tent and sail maker to present, his ideas have always been original and innovative. He has a reputation in the industry for knowledge, service and integrity. Over the past years Dennis has supplied major manufacturers with designs and tents. He has been manufacturing a range of camper trailers since 1974. Dennis has also consulted for many of the major manufacturers in the industry. Together with his wife Carol he has moved his factory to Hatton Vale, Queensland. Today, with his experience in the manufacture of camper trailers, replacement tents, annexes and all types of canvas goods, he has the expertise that has justly earned him real respect and a reputation for refusing to compromise on quality. Whether you choose a basic on road camper or the fully optioned off roaders you can be assured Weekender Camping Trailers has designed a camper to give you, the owner, many years of enjoyment...... "I didn't know it at the time, but when I bought a Campomatic camper trailer in Auckland, New Zealand way back in the early 70's I was buying wonderful quality workmanship which had been supplied by Dennis Hulse. Dennis designed and was responsible for manufacturing the entire tent sections for all of this company's camping products and his workmanship has surely stood the test of time. Although I was working in another industry at the time I was so impressed with these products I became a part time employee of the company selling their campers at shows and fetes for several years. Following my move to Australia in 1979 I lost contact with Dennis and it was only an accidental meeting just a few short years ago when we met once again. I was delighted to see that Dennis had now set up on his own and was of course, maintaining the same high standard of workmanship and building campers in his own right. We have maintained a close friendship now for several years as well as quite a number of business contacts and I can only say that Dennis's standards are very high, his products are absolutely 'FIRST CLASS' and I cannot recommend him highly enough...."
